ROKPA Restaurant is the ideal place in Boudhanath to relax after a long day of visits in Kathmandu. Whether in the restaurant or enjoying our peaceful Oasis Garden, gather with your friends at breakfast and plan the day ahead! We also do catering services for your special events (birthday, wedding, conference and meeting, or simply a friendly gathering). Freshly prepared homemade food without added MSG or additives

Open throughout the day, our modern bistro-style restaurant offers a selection of traditional Nepali, Asian and Western dishes, all freshly prepared in our kitchen. A selection of vegetarian and vegan options are available. We can adapt to special dietary restrictions; please inform us in advance. The restaurant is open to everyone, overnight guests as well as visitors.

The Café offers a selection of handcrafted teas and Himalayan coffee served your way; together with one of our homemade cakes or cookies, they make for the perfect mid-day snack!

The Veit Wyler Sunset Terrace - our rooftop bar

The Veit Wyler Sunset Terrace is the latest addition to ROKPA Guest House's facilities. Located on the rooftop of the Akong Rinpoche Memorial Centre, this bar offers a unique view of the Boudha Stupa and Boudhanath. It is the ideal place to unwind with your friends or your loved ones while enjoying the sunset over the Kathmandu Valley.

Imported and local drinks

The Veit Wyler Sunset Terrace offers a selection of imported and local liquors and beers. Classic bar fares are served, such as club sandwich and other Nepali snacks.

ROKPA Bakery

Enjoy our freshly baked breads, fresh pastries and fresh cakes all day long. Everything is homemade and baked in the bakery adjacent to our kitchen. We offer a wide range of breads: white and brown toast bread, baguettes, focaccia, sour breads and many more! We can do custom orders for all your events, be it for a birthday, a wedding, or any other special occasion that deserves a special cake.
